Talk and System Demo in Edinburgh (RefNet & SemDial)

In late August/early September, I will be presenting some of I5-[DiaSpace]’s most recent work on reference and grounding in human-machine interaction at two events in Edinburgh: I am giving a talk about “Enabling grounding dialogues through probabilistic reference handling” at the RefNet Workshop on Psychological and Computational Models of Reference Comprehension and Production, and presenting a running dialogue system for referential grounding dialogues at SemDial/DialWatt.

These presentations are based on joint work with my colleagues Zoe Falomir, Daniel Couto Vale and Mohammad Fazleh Elahi whom I would like to thank for the productive collaboration.

I am looking forward to meeting many interesting people and discussing our ideas in Edinburgh!
